In 2006 I installed a mailbox on the Erasmusbridge, the number one landmark of Rotterdam, claiming it as my new postal address (N. Post, Erasmusbrug 1, 3072 Rotterdam, Netherlands).On September 3 an exhibition opened at De Kunsthal called ‘The Swan of Rotterdam’ , celebrating 20 years since the Erasmusbridge was built.
At De Kunsthal you can now see the original mailbox and five of the pieces of mail I received in the nine weeks the mailbox was on the bridge (in total I received 134 postcards and letters).
