During the past few days, Petra van Noort and I have been busy installing three new works at the Cacacofabriek in Helmond.
Geertje Brandenburg is presenting an exhibition there under the title The Message As Medium, in which text takes center stage as material.
Petra and I are showing a monumental new work (a fragment can be seen in the picture below) and two new installations that are composed of individual works.
The other participating artists are Anna Bierler, Annabelle Binnerts, Megan Hadfield, Marjolein Witte, Cecilia Rebergen, and of course, Geertje herself.
The opening is this coming Sunday, April 12, from 15:00 to 17:00.
After that, the exhibition will be open daily from 13:00 to 17:00 until May 24.
Also check https://cacaofabriek.nl/agenda/the-message-as-medium for more info.
Hope to see you on Sunday!
